4.      You also need to buy medical travel insurance for each person in your group that is traveling to Sweden to cover for expenses in case of emergency hospitalization. The insurance amount is required to cover costs amounting to a minimum of 30,000 euros and should be valid in all countries covered by the Schengen visa.
5.      Some individual countries may have requirements that differ from the general requirements. Therefore it is better to check with the website of the appropriate embassy.

How to apply for a tourist visa


Persons who wish to apply for a tourist visa to Sweden need to apply in person at a Swedish embassy that is in the city where they live. If the city does not have a Swedish embassy then you need to travel to the nearest city that has a Swedish embassy. The following points must be noted while applying for a tourist visa to Sweden

d.     Proof of funds to cover expenses

f.        Whether you have a permit to enter the countries where you intend to travel after Sweden.
A person who is applying for a tourist visa to Sweden is expected to enclose 2 passport photographs not more than 6 months old along with the application.
